Affordability Issues Trigger Sell Rent Back Boom

It is perhaps not surprising more people are leaping off the housing ladder as confidence becomes increasingly shaky. One chief UK economist Howard Archer told The Independent that the latest data on the property market was "undeniably alarming." Mr Archer added: "Clearly, the downward pressure on property prices coming from stretched home buyer affordability and tight lending conditions is now biting hard". A sell rent back scheme is increasingly attractive for many home owners who have already been bitten by the crunch.
